Weeknight Turkey Burgers

Turkey Burger

Ah, the illusive ground turkey. You might think you don’t like ground turkey or that it’s too dry or [insert complaint here]. I’ve had this conversation with a surprising number of people, and I always come back to the same two conclusions. One: SEASONING. No matter what you’re using ground turkey for, you have to season it well. Don’t be scared of flavor. Two (and this is important): Turkey isn’t beef. It will never be beef, and it will never taste like beef. And that’s OK.

With the right seasonings, toppings, and a hearty dose of reality (see above), turkey burgers can be delicious and satisfying — plus, they’re healthy and easy to throw together on a weeknight. No more sadly eating a boring turkey burger while pretending it’s a Big Mac, folks. Gobble gobble!

1 tablespoon Worcestershire
Salt and pepper to taste
Hawaiian buns
